4-Day Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Safari

Route: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha.

Tanzania’s classic northern parks in four days: a full day among Tarangire’s baobabs and elephants, an afternoon and evening in the Serengeti, then Ngorongoro Crater on the way back to Arusha. Three nights under canvas.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

• Early morning departure from Arusha.
• Drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.
• Explore one of Tanzania’s most beautiful wildlife parks, renowned for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds.
• Spot zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, gazelles, impalas, and predators such as lions.
• Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park

• Breakfast at camp.
• Drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands en route to Serengeti National Park.
• Enjoy wildlife viewing along the way before arriving in the Serengeti.
• Afternoon and evening game drive across the vast plains.
• Search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and the abundant plains game that make Serengeti world-famous.
• Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

• Early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park.
• Witness wildlife at its most active and, seasonally, the Great Migration.
• Brunch at camp before continuing with an en route game drive toward Ngorongoro.
• Arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater rim in the evening.
• Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

• Early breakfast at camp.
• Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive.
• Search for the Big Five, including the rare black rhino.
• Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater floor surrounded by spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife.
• Afternoon ascent from the crater and drive back to Arusha via Mto wa Mbu.
• Drop-off at your hotel in Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport.

Rates (per person sharing)

Rates are in US dollars, per person sharing accommodation. The single supplement applies if you would rather not share. A 30% deposit confirms your seat; the balance is paid in cash on the day of departure.
