3-Day Serengeti & Ngorongoro Explorer Safari

Route: Arusha – Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha.

The quickest way to see Tanzania’s two headline parks: game drives across the Serengeti plains, then a full descent into Ngorongoro Crater before the drive back to Arusha. Three days, two nights under canvas.

Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park

• Early morning departure from Arusha after breakfast.
• Drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands en route to Serengeti National Park.
• Arrive in Serengeti and enjoy an afternoon game drive across the vast plains.
• Search for lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests.
• Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

• Early breakfast at camp.
• Morning game drive in Serengeti National Park.
• Enjoy excellent wildlife viewing opportunities as predators and herbivores become active.
• Picnic lunch in the park.
• Proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game viewing en route.
• Arrive at the crater rim in the evening.
• Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

• Early breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater.
• Enjoy a game drive inside the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Search for the Big Five, including the rare black rhino, as well as lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, and flamingos.
• Picnic lunch at the crater floor.
• Ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.

Rates (per person sharing)

Rates are in US dollars, per person sharing accommodation. The single supplement applies if you would rather not share. A 30% deposit confirms your seat; the balance is paid in cash on the day of departure.
